Understanding Our Escrow and Dispute System
Safety first. Discover how Hstock.ai protects both buyers and sellers using secure escrow timers and fair, evidence-based support mediation.

At Hstock.ai, trust is not a marketing tagline — it is an engineering problem we have spent months solving. Our escrow and dispute system is the result of that work, and understanding how it functions will make you a smarter buyer and a more confident seller.
What Is Escrow and Why Does It Matter?
Escrow is a neutral holding mechanism for funds. When a buyer completes a checkout on Hstock.ai, the purchase amount is immediately deducted from their balance — but it does not go to the seller yet.
Instead, the funds enter a secure escrow hold tied to that specific order. The escrow period begins, and a countdown timer starts. The duration of this timer depends on the product category (typically between 24 and 72 hours).
This window gives the buyer time to:
- Verify the credentials or files are correct and working
- Confirm the quantity and format match what was advertised
- Test any accounts or keys before the funds are released
If everything checks out, the buyer can manually release the escrow early. If not, they can open a dispute — but only before the timer expires.
How the Escrow Timer Works
Once the escrow timer reaches zero, the funds are automatically released to the seller. Buyers must act before expiry if they need support.
This design protects sellers from buyers who claim an issue days or weeks after consuming the goods. It also creates a clear, fair window for legitimate buyer concerns.
How Disputes Work
When a buyer opens a dispute, the order enters a special review state. Here is what happens next:
- The order chat becomes an Evidence Thread, visible to both parties and the support team
- Both the buyer and seller can upload screenshots, screen recordings, or any other proof directly into the thread
- Our support operators review the full delivery log, the order history, and all uploaded evidence
- A verdict is issued: the escrow is either released to the seller or refunded to the buyer
Our goal is always a fair outcome based on facts — not on who complains the loudest.
Best Practices for Both Sides
For Buyers
- Test your purchased goods immediately after delivery, do not wait
- Take a timestamped screenshot or video as soon as you verify (or discover an issue)
- Keep all communication inside the platform — off-platform messages cannot be used as evidence
For Sellers
- Deliver fresh, verified stock — every delivery is logged and can be audited
- Respond to dispute messages quickly and professionally
- Never ask buyers to close a dispute before the issue is resolved
A System Built for Fairness
The escrow and dispute system on Hstock.ai exists for one reason: to make digital goods trading safe for everyone. When the system works as designed, legitimate buyers get what they paid for, and honest sellers get paid without fear of fraudulent chargebacks.
